AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING
A PORTION OF ALAMO STREET IN THE 4500 BLOCK
AND A PORTION OF FLETCHER AVENUE BETWEEN HULEN
STREET AND HOPKINS STREET; RETAINING EASEMENTS
THEREIN FOR UTILITIES; PROVIDING FOR THE REVER-
SION OF THE FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND PROVIDING
THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE
IMMEDIATELY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That a portion of Alamo Street (4500 Block) , being a width
of 60' and a length variable to 230' located between Lots 12A,
13, 14, 15 and 16, Block 28, Factory Place Addition, and Block
60, Arlington Heights Addition 4th Filing, from Hulen Street
east to the South line of Fletcher Avenue, be and the same is
hereby vacated, closed and permanently abandoned as a public
street and thoroughfare, SAVE AND EXCEPT that easements are
retained therein for any and all existing utilities.
SECTION 2.
That the portion of Fletcher Avenue hereinafter described
by metes and bounds as follows:
A portion of Fletcher Avenue in the southwesterly
part of Fort Worth in Tarrant County, Texas.
Beginning at a stake in the northwesterly line of
Lot 16 in Block 28 of Factory Place Addition and
being 22 feet southwesterly from the northerly
corner of said Lot 16.
Thence along a line for the south line of Fletcher
Avenue: south 80 degrees-18 minutes west 128-76/100
feet to a 3/4" iron for the easterly corner of Block
60 of Arlington Heights, Fourth Filing; and north
89 degrees-23 minutes-12 seconds west, with the north
line of said Block 60, a distance of 85-51/100 feet
to a 111 iron at its intersection with the
easterly line of the right of way of Hulen
Street.
Thence northwesterly along said easterly line
of Hulen Street along a curve to the left with
a radius of 640 feet an arc distance of 6 feet
to a 3/411 iron and the chord of said arc is
north 26 degrees-56 minutes west 6 feet.
Thence along the proposed revised southerly line
of Fletcher Avenue: north 79 degrees-33 minutes
east 50-4/10 feet to a galvanized spike; north
88 degrees-06 minutes east 70 feet to a 5/8"
iron; south 89 degrees-27 minutes east 50-6/10
feet to a 5/811 iron; and north 84 degrees-17
minutes east 45-2/10 feet to the place of beginning
and containing 2022 square feet,
be and the same is hereby vacated, closed and permanently
abandoned as a public street and thoroughfare in the City
of Fort Worth, SAVE AND EXCEPT that easements are retained
therein for any and all existing utilities.
SECTION 3.
That the fee to the land in the above described vacated
streets and public thoroughfares is hereby released and will
revert to the adjacent owners as provided by law; SAVE AND
EXCEPT easements are reserved therein for any and all existing
utilities.
SECTION 4.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with are hereby repealed.
SECTION 5.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force and effect from and after the date of its passage and
it is so ordained.

ble agencies, relative two the status of these utilities. It is noted, that
Block 60, Arlington Heights Addition 4th Filing, was conveyed from the City
to William F. Bonnell, in a raratmt transaction, Voltm m!ma 60-67, page 597, Dead
