SECOND AMENDMENT AND SECOND RENEWAL TO CITY SECRETARY
CONTRACT NO. 55584
BETWEEN THE CITY OF FORT WORTH
AND PRESBYTERIAN NIGHT SHELTER OF TARRANT COUNTY, INC.
This Second Amendment and Second Renewal to City Secretary Contract No. 55584
("Second Amendment and Second Renewal") is made by and between the City of Fort Worth
("City"), a Texas home -rule municipal corporation, and Presbyterian Night Shelter of Tarrant
County, Inc., a Texas Nonprofit corporation ("Contractor"). City and Contractor are each
individually referred to herein as a "Party" and collectively as the "Parties."
WHEREAS, City and Contractor entered into an Agreement for Contractor to provide
mowing services to the City, City Secretary Contract No. 55584 ("Agreement"); and
WHEREAS, the Initial Term of the Agreement was from April 16, 2021 to April 15, 2022;
and
WHEREAS, the City and Contractor renewed the Agreement for the first Renewal Term
from April 16, 2022 to April 15, 2023; and
WHEREAS, the City and Contractor amended the agreement to reflect an increase in the
unit prices due to escalating rates of fuel and labor costs; and
WHEREAS, the City and contractor desire to renew the Agreement for an additional one-
year period; and
WHEREAS, Contractor has requested a price increase due to the increase of cost of living
and inflation of materials; and
NOW THEREFORE, the City and Contractor, acting herein by and through their duly
authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement which amends and renews City
Secretary Contract No. 55584 as follows:

The Agreement is hereby renewed for a second Renewal Term to be effective from April
16, 2023 to April 15, 2024.
2.
Exhibit B of the Agreement is hereby amended in its entirety to be read as set forth in
Attachment 1 of this Second Amendment and Second Renewal, which is attached hereto and
incorporated herein by reference.

a. All other terms, provisions, conditions, covenants and recitals of the Agreement not
expressly amended herein shall remain in full force and effect.
b. All terms in this Second Amendment and Second Renewal that are capitalized, but not
defined, shall have the meanings ascribed to those terms in the Agreement.
4.
This Amendment may be executed in multiple counterparts, each of which shall be an
original and all of which shall constitute one and the same instrument. A facsimile copy or
computer image, such as a PDF or tiff image, of a signature, shall be treated as and shall have the
same effect as an original.
