Goodall, City Secretary CALL TO ORDER With a quorum of the City Council Members present, Mayor Parker called the City Council Public Comment Meeting of the Fort Worth City Council to order at 6:02 p.m. on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, in the City Council Chamber of the Fort Worth City Hall, 200 Texas Street, Fort Worth, Texas. INVOCATION The invocation was provided by Council Member Dr. Jared Williams. PLEDGES OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE UNITED STATES AND THE STATE OF TEXAS - (State of Texas Pledge: "Honor the Texas flag; I pledge allegiance to thee, Texas, one state under God, one and indivisible.") The Pledges of Allegiances to the United States of America and the State of Texas were recited. Motion passed 9-0. 23-0028 Minutes - April 4, 2023 Work Session 23-0030 Minutes - April 4, 2023 Public Comment PUBLIC COMMENTS - The City Council may not discuss or deliberate about a topic not specifically listed on the Agenda, including those presented during the Public Comments section of the Agenda (Tex. Gov't Code § 551.042) 23-0091 Public Comments Payton Jackson appeared before Council relative to conflict in the community. Bob Willoughby appeared before Council relative to general comments. Adrian Smith appeared before Council relative to NA. Jim DeLong appeared before Council relative to a bullet. Evgeny Vorotnikov appeared before Council relative to housing for Ukrainian refugees. Tony Abbs completed a speaker card relative to school cross guard and was recognized by Mayor Parker but was not present in the Council Chambers. James Smith appeared before Council relative to accountability for Brandon. Malikk Austin appeared before Council relative to the State of the City. Carolina Rodriguez appeared before Council relative to police. Cody Warden completed a speaker card relative to police and was recognized by Mayor Parker but was not present in the Council Chambers.
