AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING
ALL UTILITY EASEMENTS IN BLOCK 2, MARINE HEIGHTS
ADDITION AND TWO 10' UTILITY EASEMENTS ON THE
COMMON LOT LINES OF LOTS 6 AND 7 AND LOTS 9 AND
10, BLOCK 1, MARINE HEIGHTS ADDITION, AS SHOWN
ON PLAT RECORDED IN VOLUME 388-63, PAGE 21,
DEED RECORDS OF TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS; AND
VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING TWO PARCELS OF
MARINE CIRCLE HEREINAFTER MORE PARTICULARLY
DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS; PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION
OF THE FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND PROVIDING THAT THIS OR-
DINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS;
SECTION 1.
That all utility easements in Block 2, Marine Heights
Addition and two 10' utility easements on the common lot lines
of Lots 6 and 7 and Lots 9 and 10, Block 1, Marine Heights
Addition, as shown on plat recorded in Volume 388-63, Page 21,
Deed Records of Tarrant County, Texas; and two parcels of
Marine Circle hereinafter more particularly described, be
and the same are hereby vacated, abandoned and permanently
closed as rights-of-way for street purposes and as utility
easements, said abandoned rights-of-way being more particularly
described as follows:
PARCEL A
BEGINNING at a point in the northwesterly line of
said Marine Circle and the southeasterly line of
Lot 5, in Block 1, of said Marine Heights, said
point being 16.7 feet north 40 degrees, 29 minutes
east from the southwest corner of said .Lot 5;
THENCE north 40 degrees 29 minutes east with said
northwesterly line of Marine Circle and southeasterly
line of Lot 5, 5.45 feet to the beginning of a curve
whose center bears north 70 degrees, 29 minutes east,
50.0 feet;
THENCE northerly, easterly, and southeasterly
with said curve, and said lines of marine Circle
and Lots 5, 6, 7 and 8, in said Block 1, marine
Heights, 182.0 feet to the end of said curve;
THENCE South 50 degrees, 58 minutes with the
northeasterly line of said Marine Circle and the
southwesterly line of said Lot 8, 5.45 feet to a
point on a curve whose center bears south 39 degrees,
02 minutes west, 75.0 feet;
THENCE westerly with said curve, 115.91 feet to the
PLACE OF BEGINNING.
PARCEL B
BEGINNING at a point in the northeasterly line of
Marine Circle and the southwesterly line of Lot 10,
in said Block 1, Marine Heights, and point being
8.35 feet south 50 degrees 58 minutes east from the
most westerly corner of said Lot 10;
THENCE south 50 degrees, 58 minutes east with said
northeasterly line of Marine Circle and southwesterly
line of Lots 10, 11, 12 and 13, in said Block 1,
213.4 feet to a point on a curve whose center bears
south 20 degrees, 58 minutes, east, 50.0 feet;
THENCE southwesterly with said curve, 52.36 feet
to a point in the southwesterly line of said Marine
Circle, and the northeasterly line of Block 2, in
said Marine Heights; .
THENCE north 50 degrees, 58 minutes west with said
southwesterly and northeasterly lines 213.4 feet to
a point on a curve whose center bears north 80 degrees,
58 minutes west, 50.0 feet;
THENCE northeasterly with said curve, 52.36 feet
to the PLACE OF BEGINNING.
BOTH parcels situated in the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant
County, Texas, and being two portions of Marine Circle
as shown on plat of Marine Heights, recorded in Volume
388-63, Page 21, of the Plat Records of Tarrant County,
Texas.
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in the above described vacated
rights-of-way and utility easements is hereby released and will
revert to the adjacent owners as provided by law, SAVE AND
EXCEPT that easements are reserved therein for any and all
existing utilities.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force and effect from and after the date of its passage and
it is so ordained.

Crites Builders, Inc. owner of all abutting property, has requested that the
City vacate all utility easements in Block 2, Marine Heights Addition mn mnd two
10' utility easements on the con=on lot lines of Lots 6 and 7 and "Lots 9 and 10,
Block 1, 'Marine Heights Addition; and further that the City vacate Marine Circle
adjacent to Lots 5 through 15, "plod i (easements and rigbt-of-way proposed
or vacation are illustrated on the attached gip) .
The subject right-of-way, cqu r^e by dedication, is neither paved our open.
The subject easements also contain no improvements. The City Plan Commission
has reviewed this requested street vacation and recommends its approval
provided satisfactory replwat is submitted. In accordance with Plan Commission
policy, City departments and private utility companies have reviewed the
easement vacation request and recommends its approval subject only to the
replat which has now been submitted.

It is recommended that an ordinance be adopted vacating the subject easements
and right-of-way as requested.
