AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING
THE 10 ' UTILITY EASEMENT BISECTING THE COMMON
REAR LOT LINES OF LOTS 13-16 AND 27-30, BLOCK
12, WEISENBERGER CITY ADDITION FROM THE WEST
LINE OF EAST LOOP IH 820 WESTERLY A DISTANCE OF
218.4 ' AS SHOWN ON PLAT RECORDED IN VOLUME 388-G,
PAGE 105, DEED RECORDS OF TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS ;
PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE FEE IN SAID
LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS :
SECTION 1.
That the 10' utility easement bisecting the common rear
lot lines of Lots 13-16 and 27-30, Block 12, Weisenberger
City Addition from the west line of East Loop IH 820 westerly
a distance of 218.4' as shown on plat recorded in Volume 388-G,
Page 105, Deed Records of Tarrant County, Texas, be and the
same is hereby vacated, abandoned and permanently closed as
a utility easement.
SECTION 2 .
That the fee to the land in said utility easement is
hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owners
as provided by law, SAVE AND EXCEPT that easements are retained
for any and all existing utilities.
SECTION 3 .
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.

That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force
and effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is
so ordained.

Donald J. Woodridge, owner of all abutting property, has requested that the
City vacate a 10' utility easement bisecting the common rear lot lines of
Lots 13-16 and 27-30, Block 12, Weisenberger City Addition, for a length of
218.4' , as shown on a plat recorded in Volume 388-G, Page 105, Deed Records
of Tarrant County, and the attached map.
The subject easement, acquired by dedication, contains no utility facilities.
Reviewing City departments and private utility companies have no objection to
the vacation of the subject easement. The Applicant has submitted a satis-
factory replat of the abutting properties, including a vacated easement.
Recommendation
It is recommended that an ordinance be adopted vacating the subject easement
as requested.
