The subject alley, acquired by dedication, is not open on the ground, is presently used to store flat bed trailers, is otherwise unimproved, and contains no utility facilities. Reviewing City departments and private utility companies have raised no objections to this request provided the vacated right-of-way is replatted with abutting property, and both ends are physically closed with standard curb and gutter, or a standard driveway approach is approved and constructed. A satisfactory replat has been submitted. The City Plan Commission has reviewed this request, and recommends that the subject alley right-of-way be vacated, as requested. Recommendation It is recommended that the subject alley right-of-way be vacated.
