AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING
A 10 FOOT WIDE UTILITY EASEMENT ALONG THE
COMMON LINE OF LOTS 1 AND 14, BLOCK 10,
HIGHLAND HOMES ADDITION; PROVIDING FOR THE
REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING
ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COU14CIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That a 10 foot wide utility easement along the common
line of Lots 1 and 14, Block 10, Highland Homes Addition, be and
the same is hereby vacated, abandoned and permanently closed as
utility easement.
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in the above described easement
is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owners as
provided by law, SAVE AND EXCEPT that easements are retained for
any and all existing utilities.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force and effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is
so ordained.

Gateway National Bank, owner of Lots 1, 13B & 14, Block 10, Highland Homes
Addition, 'has requested that the City vacate the 10' wide utility easement
along the common line, of Lots I and 14 as shown on the attached plat,,,
This easement, acquired b,y dedication, is not in use. Reviewing City depart-
ments and private utility companies have no objections to this request, provided
the subject property is replotted with the adjacent property. A satisfactory
replat has been submitted.
Recommendation
it is recommended that the subject easement be vacated.
