CALL TO ORDER
With a quorum of the City Council Members present, Mayor Parker called the City
Council Public Comment Meeting of the Fort Worth City Council to order at 6:02 p.m.
on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, in the City Council Chamber of the Fort Worth City Hall, 200
Texas Street, Fort Worth, Texas.
INVOCATION - Pastor Alanzo Winston, Worth Hills Church of Christ
The invocation was provided by Pastor Alanzo Winston, Worth Hills Church of Christ.
PLEDGES OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE UNITED STATES AND THE STATE
OF TEXAS - (State of Texas Pledge: "Honor the Texas flag; I pledge allegiance
to thee, Texas, one state under God, one and indivisible.")
The Pledges of Allegiances to the United States of America and the State of Texas were
recited.

CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES
Motion: Mayor Pro tem Bivens made a motion, seconded by Council Member Nettles, that
the minutes of the Work Session and Public Comment meetings of May 2, 2023,
the Council meeting of May 9, 2023, the Joint Council and Fort Worth
Employees' Funding Board, Work Session, and Special Called Meeting for the
Election Canvas meetings of May 16, 2023, and the Council meeting of May 23,
2023, be approved. Motion passed 10-0.

Loretta Snoke-Huezo completed a speaker card relative to public comment and
was recognized by Mayor Parker but was not present in the Council Chamber.
Elva Camacho appeared before Council vis conference call relative to City issues
and all agendas.
Kyev Tatum, representing New Mount Rose Missionary Baptist Church of Fort
Worth, appeared before Council relative to the state of black Fort Worth in
Morningside.
Payton Jackson appeared before Council relative to zip codes.
Ricardo Avitia appeared before Council relative to public comments.
Hedy Pena appeared before Council relative to various.
Jason Pena appeared before Council relative to various.
James Smith appeared before Council relative to overgrown alleyways, Atatiana
Jefferson, and Manuel Mata.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, Mayor Parker adjourned the meeting at 7:52 p.m.
