Attention: Elizabeth Young
Subject: TPW-Wide Asset Management Strategy Project — Training Program
City of Fort Worth PO# FW020-0000006206
Dear Mr. Owen:
Per our discussion at the meeting held on July 24, 2023, AECOM respectfully submits this
proposal for developing an initial training program for subject contract in the amount of
$50,000. Please see the attachment for breakdown of the scope of work level of effort.
The scope of work to be completed is as follows:
AECOM will develop up to 9 training classes for the TPW Asset Management (AM) program.
The proposed classes are highlighted in the Asset Management Education Training Course
Summary (attached). Up to 2 sessions (01 Introduction to ISO 55000 and 02 Benefits of
AM) may be hosted virtually by September 30. Schedule is dependent on TPW staff and
will be coordinated through Elizabeth Young. The remaining sessions (up to 9 in total) will
be completed through August 31, 2024. The suggested attendance is as noted in the
attachment. Scope of work includes developing each session to the length identified in the
attachment and any necessary training materials. At least one session (AT8 Data Quality)
will be hosted onsite. The onsite session will include 2 AECOM staff onsite for 2 days. TPW
is responsible for securing training location and any resources needed for training outside of
the handouts developed by AECOM. A draft training schedule will be developed within 2
weeks of NTP and updated throughout the project.
Deliverables:
• Training questionnaire to be distributed to TPW staff by TPW.
• PowerPoint Presentations for each training session.
• Training handouts for the on -site training.
• Draft Training Schedule
Assumptions:
• All virtual training will be recorded and only held "live" one time.
• On -site training will be hosted multiple times (up to 8 times over 2 days) to
accommodate smaller class sizes.
• Fee estimate includes one on -site visit for 2 days.
• Schedule for on -site training session will be arranged at least 2 weeks in advance.
• All sessions will be scheduled at least 2 weeks in advance and in collaboration with
TPW.
• Up to 4 one hour working sessions will be held with key TPW stakeholders to
develop the training sessions.
• Attendance to sessions are as noted in the attachment and the responsibility of
TPW.
Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Sincerely,
Bridget Malinowski, P.E. Reggie Herman, AICP
