HomeMy WebLinkAboutContract 55954-A1CSC No. 55954-A1 AMENDMENT No . 1 TO CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT No. 55954 WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth (CITY) and AECOM Technical Services, Inc., (ENGINEER) made and entered into City Secretary Contract No. 55954, (the CONTRACT) which was authorized by M&C 210510 on the 22nd day of June, 2021 in the amount of $221,661; and WHEREAS, the CONTRACT involves engineering services for the following project: TPW-wide Asset Management Strategy Development Contract, CPN 103399; and WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment No. 1 to the CONTRACT to include an increased scope of work and revised fee. NOW THEREFORE, CITY and ENGINEER, acting herein by and through their duly authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement, which amends the CONTRACT: 1. Article I of the CONTRACT is amended to include the additional engineering services specified in proposal attached hereto and incorporated herein. The cost to City for the additional design services to be performed by Engineer totals $50,000. (See Attached Funding Breakdown Sheet, Page -4-) 2. Article II of the CONTRACT is amended to provide for an increase in the fee to be paid to Engineer for all work and services performed under the Contract, as amended, so that the total fee paid by the City for all work and services shall be an amount of $271,661. 3. All other provisions of the Contract, which are not expressly amended herein, shall remain in full force and effect. City Engineer City of Fort Worth — TPW Department 200 Texas Street Fort Worth, TX 76102 Attention: Elizabeth Young Subject: TPW-Wide Asset Management Strategy Project — Training Program City of Fort Worth PO# FW020-0000006206 Dear Mr. Owen: Per our discussion at the meeting held on July 24, 2023, AECOM respectfully submits this proposal for developing an initial training program for subject contract in the amount of $50,000. Please see the attachment for breakdown of the scope of work level of effort. The scope of work to be completed is as follows: AECOM will develop up to 9 training classes for the TPW Asset Management (AM) program. The proposed classes are highlighted in the Asset Management Education Training Course Summary (attached). Up to 2 sessions (01 Introduction to ISO 55000 and 02 Benefits of AM) may be hosted virtually by September 30. Schedule is dependent on TPW staff and will be coordinated through Elizabeth Young. The remaining sessions (up to 9 in total) will be completed through August 31, 2024. The suggested attendance is as noted in the attachment. Scope of work includes developing each session to the length identified in the attachment and any necessary training materials. At least one session (AT8 Data Quality) will be hosted onsite. The onsite session will include 2 AECOM staff onsite for 2 days. TPW is responsible for securing training location and any resources needed for training outside of the handouts developed by AECOM. A draft training schedule will be developed within 2 weeks of NTP and updated throughout the project. Deliverables: • Training questionnaire to be distributed to TPW staff by TPW. • PowerPoint Presentations for each training session. • Training handouts for the on -site training. • Draft Training Schedule Assumptions: • All virtual training will be recorded and only held "live" one time. • On -site training will be hosted multiple times (up to 8 times over 2 days) to accommodate smaller class sizes. • Fee estimate includes one on -site visit for 2 days. • Schedule for on -site training session will be arranged at least 2 weeks in advance. • All sessions will be scheduled at least 2 weeks in advance and in collaboration with TPW. • Up to 4 one hour working sessions will be held with key TPW stakeholders to develop the training sessions. • Attendance to sessions are as noted in the attachment and the responsibility of TPW.
