Over the past thirty years, the City of Fort Worth has served residents with both single-family and multi-
family home rehabilitation services directly addressing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC)
needs. In addition to directly addressing HVAC needs, these programs also assist in providing
weatherization/energy efficiency audits to reduce the cost of utilities and supporting households with utility
assistance. These programs are targeted to keep residents in their homes, reduce household energy
consumption and costs, and directly improve the household incomes of low-income families.
