WHEREAS, the Sta-�e of Texas has determined that said right-o� way is no longer needed for the

RECOMMENDATI�N:
It is recommer�ded that the City Councif concur with the state's plan to dispose of right-o�-way which lies
within the city Nimits �f Far� Wortf�, Tarrant Caunty, on Interstate Highway 3q at Pf�ofo Str�et, in
aceordance with the established laws and regufations of the State of Texas.
DISCUSSION:
The stat� has requested that ihs Cify evaluate its n�ed for a tract af state-awned right-af-way which lies
on lnterstate Highway 30 at Photo Street.
Staff from th� Engineering, Development, Parks and Community 5ervices, Planning, and
Transportation and Public Warks Departments studied the public need for saEd right-ofTway and
determined that it is no Innger needed for the use of citizens as a road or fior public transpartation
purposes. This tract is not suitable for conservation, park, recreation andlor similar purposes due to its
size, location, and tapography.
FISCAL INFORMATIONICERTIFiCATION:
The Finance Director certifies that this action will have no material effect on City funds.
