AMENDMENT 1 TO
FORT WORTH CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. 60143
This Amendment is made between the City of Fort Worth ("Fort Worth") and CPS HR
Consulting ("Consultant").
WHEREAS, Fort Worth and Consultant entered into an Agreement identified as Fort
Worth City Secretary Contract No. 60143 beginning September 21, 2023 for Consultant to conduct
a professional search for a new Talent Acquisition Manager (the "Agreement");
WHEREAS, the Parties agreed to a Partial Recruitment at a fixed rate of $19,000.00, as
reflected in Exhibit B of the Agreement; and
WHEREAS, it is the collective desire of both Fort Worth and Consultant to amend the
Agreement to add additional services in order for Consultant to conduct semi-finalist interviews
for an additional price of $2,500.00; and
WHEREAS, the Parties agree to amend Exhibit A, Scope of Services, and Exhibit B, Price
Schedule, in order to account for this additional service.
NOW THEREFORE, Fort Worth and Consultant, acting herein by and through their duly
authorized representatives, agree to the following terms, which amend the Agreement as follows:
Exhibit A of the Agreement, Scope of Services, is hereby amended by adding the
attached "Partial Recruitment Work Plan and Project Schedule" to the exhibit. The
schedule incorporates services related to semi-finalist interviews.
2. Exhibit B of the Agreement, Price Schedule, is hereby amended by deleting the
exhibit in its entirety and replacing it with the attached, revised Exhibit B.
3. All other terms, provisions, conditions, covenants and recitals of the Agreement not
expressly amended herein shall remain in full force and effect.

Active Recruitment
Advertising
Consultants post the lob to various websites and publications, the
October 16, 2023
agency website, CPS HR website, and various professional
associations.
Consultants will also send an initial e-mail blast to its relevant
database of professionals.
Aggressive Recruiting/Application Process
Consultants follow up with targeted/qualified candidates (those who
are a match to the candidate profile) to ascertain interest and
encourage applications. Conversations with the client and

stakeholder feedback will assist in determining the best avenues for
November 13, 2023
follow up.
Candidates apply through the CPS HR website, with receipt of
applicant materials acknowledged. The consultants vet candidate
applications against minimum qualifications. Consultants provide
weekly updates to the client regarding recruitment activities.
November 13, 2023
Active recruitment period ends.
Selection Process
Screening interviews completed
Consultants conduct comprehensive screening interviews with all

candidates who meet the minimum qualifications as described in the
November 24, 2023
job announcement; these discussions will be conducted by phone.
Consultants will also conduct media checks on all screened
candidates.
Candidate Review Meeting w/ Client
The client will review consultant's recommendations regarding top

candidates; determine the short-list candidates to be interviewed by
the client and possibly other subject matter experts, staff, etc.
Client Reports will be delivered for Client review prior to the meeting.
Consultants will be present to facilitate discussion.

Week of 12/4 thru Semi -Finalist Interviews w/ Panelists Short-listed candidates to be

• Consultant to coordinate candidate scheduling and assist with
facilitation of ZOOM interviews.
• Consultant to prepare all interview evaluation materials and
interview questions (Top 8.10 questions selected by City); questions
will be pre -assigned for panelists for consistency purposes in each
interview.
• Interview materials will be emailed "electronically" to panelists prior
to the scheduled interview dates, along with the interview questions
(hard copies of monuol will be provided for in person Finalist
interviews).
• Debrief with panelists and City team following interviews.
• Number of Finalists Selected TBD (approximately Top 2-3 candidates)

Our professional fixed fee covers all CPS HR services and deliverables associated with the Partial
Recruitment process of the Talent Acquisition Manager. The deliverables include a promotional
brochure and paid advertising.
