C�ntra�tor shall pro�u'rde mon#hly collection af additionaf �rush and Bulky 1Naste to alE�households andlor �acan# lots within #he �esignated Ser�ice Area within their designated routes (identi#ied as Attachment 1—[Vlap of iargeted A�eas). This collectian is ir� addition to and intended to supplement the services curr�ntly being pro�ided pursuant to Gity �ecretary Contracts numbered i91i9, '99� 80, '199 �2, and their amendmenis filed in the �ity S�cretary's office ir�cludin� but nat limited to 14mendments numbered 225�,�'i, 240��, �4�09, 25'144, 2�3�'9, and ��585. - . �. This s�hedule shall not be changed withaut the prior written approval o# the Director of Enviranmental N9anagement. ihe City at .its aption and with the agreemer�t of the Contractar may add addi#ional routes after remo�ing a route tha# has been deemed by the �irector to be successf�lly completed as long as the total n�mber of rautes does not exceed ��. �ity shaf! prarride Coniract�r wi[1 ad�ance reasonable notice. 3. Contractor will pro�ide, a# any time within � business days of completing the route, the City with a list n� all locat�or�s recei�ing se��ice �ach periad. �n a wee�ly basis, Contractor shall report to the Directar of �nvironmental [Vianag�ment the quantjty in #ons and truc�t cubic yards by rnut� callec#ed from these additinnal collectio�s. . 4, Contractar shall provide up to 8 roll�ofi containers to be placed at selected sites acrvss the City and serviced as needed up to 3 tim�s per week. ihe Ci#y shall noiify Gontractor w[�en a container is full and needs to be pulled. �ontractor shall ha�e unobstructed vehicutar ac�ess ta each of the c�ntainer�. In addition, all s�ch containers shall be loaded such that Contractor shall E�e able to plac� a tarp o�er such can#ainers for such r�maval. In no e�en# shall Contractor be obligated to remor�� any such containe� if �ontractor do�s not have unobstructed access to such con#ainer, or if waste is loaded in the container such that Contractor is not aEa�e #o pull and transpart �uch container to the dispvsal siie. . �. bBU�S ,�A[� ��YS OF COLLECiIOPI �Il collection snall be performed between the hours of i a.m. and '� p.rn., Monday through Saturday. Con#racto� sf�all dev�lop rautes that specify the order in which accounts wilC he ser�iced, ihe Director of �n�ironmental NYanagernent will be notified of any coE�ection acti�ities occurrir�g outside of regular collectian times prior #o the wor� being perfarmed, �f possible, and n� later than the next wor�ing day. �tl oral notifications must be followed with � written notification no later than two worMing days after th� occurrence indica#ing the collection areas in�ol�ed, dates and times, the reasons for the late or unscheduled wor�, and the meas�res tak�n to preven# the problem from re�urring. �ate or u��scheduled collection occurring thr�e ar m�re times in a month will b� cansidered a chronic pr�blem ar�d a br�ach of the ser�ice contract. DISPOSAL 0� �RUSH Ai�D �U�KY W�►Si� Contractor shall notify the Gity af fhe disposal site that is to be utiliaed during the term af #�is contract. Contract�r st�all de[iver all Brush and �ulky Waste collected h�reunc[er to site(s) that meet Texas �latural F�esource Cons�r�ation Gommission requirements for sanitary landfilf operations. Cor�tractor will natify the City immediately of change in dis�osal location. �ontractor agrees that tF�� Contractor will accep# sole and continuing lia6ility for the proper disposal of these wastes. G. �QI�I�iV��Ni �he Contractor shall furnish and maintain all such equipment as is considered to be reasonably necessary for prosecution o# the wor� in an acceptable manner and at a satisfactory rate of progress. All equipment, t�ols, and machinery used iar handling ma#erials and executing any part af the work shall !a� subject to the appro�al of the �ity a�d shall be maintained in a sati�factory; safe and efficient wor�ing condition. �quipment used hy Gantractor shall be such that no injury to the workers or prnperty will result from its Use. �ontractor shall lae responskhle for initiating, main#aining and super�isin� all safety precautions and progr�ms, in connectian with th� work and ser�ices per#armed hereunder. Contract�r st�all provide reasonable protection ta p�e�ent property loss or darnage andlor personal injury to persons, including hut not limited to employees per��rming such work and ali other persons who may he affected thereby. 3. SC�PE OF C1TY SFRVICFS Tl�e Ci#y agrees to perform the following ser�vices: �e. designate a�ity representati�e to pro�id� tim�ly dir�ction ta t[�e Contractar and render City decisions; �. C�ordinate access ta any project sites; and �. Specify iivhere roll�aff containers will be placed. Contractor shall complete all activ�ities identi#ied within this contract in a timely manner. Contractor shall also deliver informatianal door hangers and fiiyers prorrided by the City ta res�dences that rece�ve such tags of non cvmplianee, , �.
