Th.e ADVERTISER agrees to ei.ther pay for advertisements when ordered or establish credit with the COMPANY and mak� fuil payrnent upon receipt of CQMPANY's invoice/statement, and, in the event that �he ADVER"TISER fai1� to make timel� payment, COMPANY may reject advertising copy and/or immediately cancel this contract, and ADVER'�ISER agrees to indemnify COMPANY for all expenses incu�ed in connection with the collection of amounts payable undex this contract, inciuding collection fees, attorney's fees and court casts. DISGUSSION: An extensive ad�ertising campaign is part of the overal� educatian and marketing plan ihat the staff of the En�ironmental Management Departmen# presented to the City Couneil an January 28, 2003, as part of the implementation of the new recycling and garbage program Ci#y-wide. Ad�ertisements will be placed in the Fort Wor�h Star-Telearam and La Estrella at a cost of $�4,060. (Advertisemen#s wiil alsa be p[aced ir� La Vida News - The B�acl� Vaice at a cost of $'[Q,800). The ads will announce the recycling and garbage campaign, and notify residents about cart deliveries. Other messages will fiocus on sa�ing maney by recycling more, lowering monthly sanitation fees by chaasing small�r garbage carts, and explaining the benefits of using carts. The ads began running in mid- February 2003, �nd are planned through mid-.luly 20a3, MIWBE - A wai�er af the gaal for MIWBE subcontracting requiremenis was requested and appra�ed by the M/WBE Office because subconfracting and supply opportunities are negligible.
