Article I of the ContracY is amended ta include the additionai engineering services speciiied in the groposal letter dated March 3, 20p3, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein. The cost far the additional professional services ta be performed by the Engineer toial $12,192.OQ. ►7� Article II of the Contract is amended ta pro�ide for an increase in the maximurn fee to be paid the Engineer for all work an� s�rvices under the Contract, as amended, so that the total fee paid by the City for all work and services shall not exceed $311,292.Q0. In our praposal, we outlined �e costs for repair designs for the exterior and interiar of the box. This letter xevises those casts to speeifically axclude the interior design work as that wark can be condncted done under a futur� contract. Hawever, as agreed the design services for the exterior have been completed and were added to �e Headworks contract by addendum in late 2002. Attached is tl�e foilowing table that summarizes the additional costs of the services. The table reflects our subcontractor's estimates for the extra woxk plus a 1D% ma�r� up. As Malcolm Pirnie considered the extra work to be primarily structural in scape, all the fees with the exception of 4 hours to att�nd �e pre-bid meeting are by our M/WBE siYuctural engineering subcontractor. Alsa Xncluded is a letter frona our subcantractar outlinin� iheir CD8�3.
