TERMIhTAL BUILDING OFFICE LEASE AGREEMENT
This AMENDMEl�i'T` NO. � TO C�TY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. 27644
("Amendrnent") is made and entered into by and be�ween the CITY OF FORT WORTH{"Lessor"), a
home rule municipal cor�aorat�an organized under the laws of tne State of Texas and acting by and
through its duly authorized Assistant City Manager, and NIISSION RESE.AR.CH CORPORATION.
("Lessee"), a California corporation, dozng business in Texas, acting by and through Bob Gorsi�i, its duly
authorized Chief Financial Officer.
The following introductory provisions are true and correct and farm the basis of this Amendment;
A. Lessor and Lessee previously entered into City Secretary Contract ('"CSC"') Na. 2766A�, a
lease of office space within the Terminai Building at Fort Worth Meacham International
Airpart.
B. Under CSC Na. 27664 Le�see leased Suites: 216, 216A, 2i6S, 220, 222, 224, 226, 228,
230, 230B, 230C, 230D, 230E, 232, 232A, 232B, 234�.
C. CSC No. 2766�4 was amended and Lesse� added suites: 236, 236A and 23B to its o£fice
suites.
D. Lessee's business has continued to expand and Lessee wishes to add Office Suite 242 to
its current lease, which includes 242 Reception, Suifes: 242, 242A, 242B, 2�2C, 242D,
242E, 242F, 242G, z42S at�.d 242Ha�lway to its current office suites. Lessor is wiIling to
consent to Lessee's request on the pror+isions and conditions of this Amendrnent.
NOW, THEREFORE, far good and valuable consideration, the receipt and adequacy of which are
hereby acknawledged, Lessor and Lessee agree to the fallowing:
1. Section 1 of the Lease (property leased) is �aereby amended to add the following:
1.3 2496 square feet of second floor office space identified as the Suites 242; which
includes 242 Recept�on, Suites: 242, 242A, 242B, 2�2C, 242D, 29�2E, 242F,
242G, 2425 and 242 Hallway as depic#ed on Exbu.bit "A-�" of this amendment,
a� part of the Premises leased under the Lease. E�ibits "A", "A-1'" and "A-2"
collectively depict the Premiscs and are hereto and hereby made a part of the
Laase for all p�poses. �
2. Pursuant to 3ectinn 3.1 of fihe Lease, Lessee shall as of the execution date of this
amendment, pay Lessor as mont�y rent for ihe Premises the sum ofFive-thausand eight
hundred seventy-on� Dollars and 62/100 (�$5,871.62). This renta] amount will be
subject to adjustment as provided by and in accordance with Sectian 3.2 of the Lease,
3. Tbais Amendmeni s�iall take effect an tke date of execution.
4. All capitalized terms used but not defined in. this Amendment shall have the meanings
assigned to them in the Lease.

RECOMMENDATION:
It is re'commended that the Ctty Council authorize the City Manager to execute Amendmeni No. 2 ta
City Secre#ary Contract No. 2i664, a lease with Mission Research Corporation for office space on the
second floor of the �erminal bujldi�g of Fort Worth Nieacham Inier.naiional Airpart.
DISCUSSI�N:
Currently, under fhe amended City Secre#ary Cantract No. 27664, Missian R�s�arch Cor�ora�ion
leases se�e�a! suites on the second floor of the terminal 6uilding at Fart Worth Meacham International
Airport. Th� A�iation D�partment received a request from Mission Research Corporat�on to add Suite
242 to its current office suites.
� This amendment will #ake effect on tt�e date of execution, and is r�newable on an annual basis each
I, October 1st, uniess canceled by either party with 30 days written notice. Rent during the renewal
�� periods will camply with the rates estabfished by the Aviation Department's 5cheduEe of Raies and
'� Charges.
I Total revenue recei�ed fram this amendment will be $2,239.60 per month, or $27,955.20 per year.
� Based on an assumed start date of April 1, 2003, the re�enue that will be received un�er ti�is lease for
��, the remainder of the fscal year is $�3,437.60. �
All ather pro�isions and conditions of t�e lease agreement shall remain un effect.
The property is located in COl)NCIL DISTRIGT 2.
I FISCAL INFORMATION/CERTEFICATION:
' The Finance Director certifi�s that the Revenue Division of the Finance Department will be resp�nsible
for tE�e.collection and deAosit of funds due to the City under this agreement.
