D15CU5SION: Pier 1 Impor�s, Inc. is beginning t�e construct�an af its ne�ry headquarters. Robert T. Blackwelder, 5en.iar Vice President, has applied for a consent agreement authorizing the �se of the right-of-way for ar� �ncroachment. The facility requires construction af a retaining wall an 5th A��nue. A portion of the foundation fior the wall will be encroaching into the right�of-way approximately two feet and wi[I be installed at a level of between 8 and 20 feet below grade. The eons�nt agreement shall provide that any future assignments of the agreement must be appra�ed by the City Manager. The Encroachment Committee has reviewed this re�uest and has recommended appro�a�. The proposed encroachment is located in Council District 9.
