It was d�iezzn.imed that the exzstzz�g zegu�ators were adequate and connec�ion -to the e�isting system was passihle. Thirty- seven (37) hours of engineering time and �arty-eighf (4$) tecl�zxician hours were required far analysis, layou� and develapmeni af new details for the centerline Iighiing system. This additional e�gin�ering cost wa� $8,755. Throughaut the c�es�gn period af the project we have experienced several starts and stvps as decisions were pending about ihc development and the fiu�ding pa.rti.cipation by FAA. The s�art and stopping darections were not conduczve to design cantinuity and commu�nication process. In retrospect, we should have beez�. more diligent abaut zmmediately calliug these changes to the city's attention so a camrr�on tuaderstandi�ag ��aou# needs, scope changes az�d costs cauld be agzeed upon.
