Amendment to City Secretary Contract No. 26982

THIS con�ract amendment is m�,de and ente�red into by and between the City of Fort
Worth ("Cit�'), ac�ing by and through Reid Rector, its duly authorized Assistant City Manager,
and Polytechnic Community Development Corporation ("Contractor"), by and through Yahya
Mumin, its duly authorized Baard President. Coniractor's business address is 364Q Avcnue M,
Fort Worth, Texas 76145.
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth and Contractor have heretofare entered into City
Secretary Contract No. 26982, dated August 10, 2041 to assist the Contractor in the developmeni
of affordable housing projects pursuant to a grant received from the United States Department of
Housing and Urban Develapment {"HUD") through the Home Investmen� Partnerships
("HOME") Program, and
V�HEREAS, the said contract expires by its terms on August 9, 2002, and
WHEREAS, the contract allows for a one time extension of the contract for up to a one-
year term to meet the project goals, and
WHEREAS, the parties have agreed tha� it is to their mutual benefit tti e�fend Contract
No. 26982 ta rneet the praject goaIs.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration oi these premises and the terms and conditions
hereinafter sef farth, the parties covenant and agree as follows:
The term of Coniract No. 26982 is hereby amended and extended un�il August $,
2Q03.
2. "Exhibit A- Program Summar}�' is kfereby arnended.
3. AlI other terms and conditions of the coniract remain in full farce and effect,
�inding upon the parties, and are hereby ratif ed hy the parties.
