DISCUSSNON. This projecf is a part of the Water and Wastewater Master Plan prepared in 1989. Under ihis recommendation, a 36-inc ater line will be designed next to an existing 48-inch water fine. The purpose of this projeci is to proide increased flow capacity from the Holly Wafer Teeatment plants pressure planes into the Westside pressure planes. Chiang, Patef & Yerby, lnc. was selected ta provid the engineerig services necessary to produce plans and specifications for this project, including a route study, hydraulic investigation and geotechnical invesfigation. The rgineer wiq prpare plans, specifications, easements and permit documents for approximately 1,80 linear feet of 36-inch water line. MIWBE - Chiang, Patel & Yerby, Inc. is in compliance with fhe City`s MNVBE Ordinance by committing to 22°/4 MIVIlBE participation. The City's goal on this project is 15%. In addifion to the contract amount, $10,00 is required for project managemenfi by the Engineering Departmert.
