Hacklev , its dufy authorized represenfiati�e, hereinafter referred to as "BEP", and the City of Fort Worth, acting herein by and through Mike Graomer, its duly author�zed Assistant City Manager, hereina�ter referred to as "City". WHEREAS, BEP has requested City to install a traffic signal device at the in�ersection of F'M 956 (B[ue Mound Road) and the entrance to BEP's Western Currency Facifity. N�W THEREFORE, EF1lV Industries, Tarrant County Callege and the City of Fort Worth do hereby agree as follows: 1. BEP agrees to pay City the sum of $98,OQfl for the cost of materials, equipment and labar for the ins#alla�ion of a traffic signal system at the intersection of FM 156 and Blue Mound Road and the entrance to BEP's Western Currency Facility. Funding for this agreement sha�l be pro�ided by BEP Form $516 Requisition for Purchase of Mafierial or Services No. 01-WM-0089. The sum of $98,000 shall be paid io City prior to beginning any work on fhe project. 2. City shall be responsibie for #he cost of the design of the traffic signal and for competitively bidding for its installa#ion. Gity shall b� r�sponsibl� for maintenance, in accordance wifh state law and any other operational expenses regarding the traffic signal system and its associated equipment, including the monthly power cost for the traffic signal. 3.
