Budget of the City Manager, there yhu|| also be increased estimated receipts and appropriations in the
Airport Grants Fund in the amount of$100,000.00, of which $50,000.00 is subject to receipt of a Routine
Airport Muiotuouuoe Project Grant from the Texas Department of Transportation, Aviation Division arid
$50,000.00 is auNoot to the receipt ofu contribution from Alliance Air Services for the City's match, for the
purpose o[providing routine maintenance at Fort Worth Alliance Airport.
SECTION 2.

SECTION 3,
That this ordinance shall be cumulative of Ordinance No. 20411-09'2012 and all u\6cr ordiuu000x and
appropriations amending the same except io those instances where the provisions o[this ordinance are m
direct conflict with such other ordinances and appropriations, in which instance said conflicting provisions
of said prior ordinances and appropdo600u are hereby expressly repealed.
SECTION 4.
This ordinance shall take effect upon adoption.

Authorize Acceptance of a Routine Airport Maintenance Project Grant for Fort Worth Alliance Airport from
the Texas Department of Transportation, Aviation Division, if Offered, in the Amount Up to $50,000.00,
Accept Contribution from Alliance Air Services in the Amount Up to $50,000.00 for the City's Grant Match
and Adopt Appropriation Ordinance (COUNCIL DISTRICT 7)
RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the City Council:
1. Authorize the acceptance of a Routine Airport Maintenance Project Grant for Fort Worth Alliance
Airport from the Texas Department of Transportation, Aviation Division, in the amount up to $50,000.00;
2. Authorize the acceptance of the contribution from Alliance Air Services in the amount up to $50,000.00
for the City's match; and
3. Adopt the attached appropriation ordinance increasing estimated receipts and appropriations in the
Airport Grants Fund up to the amount of$100,000.00, contingent upon the receipt of the grant from the
Texas Department of Transportation and contribution from Alliance Air Services,
DISCUSSION:
Each year, the City of Fort Worth receives a grant offer from the Texas Department of Transportation
(TxDOT) to provide needed routine maintenance items at Fort Worth Alliance Airport (Alliance Airport)with
a total eligibility amount up to $100,000.00. This grant requires a 50 percent match of eligible project
costs or up to the amount of$50,000.00, whichever is less. Alliance Air Services, the company that
manages Alliance Airport, will reimburse the City of Fort Worth for 50 percent of eligible costs or up to the
amount of$50,000.00, whichever is less.
Routine Airport Maintenance Project (RAMP) Grant funds may be used to cover the cost of airside and
landside improvements. The proposed projects at Alliance Airport will consist of pavement improvement
work, airfield runway, taxiway and apron lighting equipment, repairs and maintenance of fencing and
runway erosion control.
Alliance Airport is located in COUNCIL DISTRICT 7.
FISCAL INFORMATION /CERTIFICATION:
The Financial Management Services Director certifies that upon approval of the above recommendations,
and adoption of the attached appropriation ordinance, funds will be available in the current operating
budget, as appropriated, of the Airport Grants Fund.
