L..))L}{.pl-f'1' I § COUNTY OF TARRANT § AUTHORIZING M&C NO . ------ WHEREAS , the City of Fort Worth (City) and Texas Health Resources (Developer) entered into a Community Facilities Agreement, City Secretary Contract No. 41462 ("CF A"); and WHEREAS , it has become necessary to execute Amendment No. 1 to the CFA to allow City participation in an amount of $72,515.96 for the City's portion of costs associated with construction, inspection, and material testing of the 16-inch water main contemplated by the CF A ; and WHEREAS, the City Council authorized execution of Amendment No. 1 to the CF A on the ?1h day of August, 2012 via M&C C-25769. NOW THEREFORE , City and Developer, acting herein by and through their duly authorized representatives , enter into the following agreement, which amends the CF A: 1. The City 's portion of inspection and material testing fees are directly allocated to the City 's accounts for charges and does not reimburse the Water Inspection and Material Testing Fees to the developer. The City 's participation estimate shall be based upon unit prices contained in City of Fort Worth Ordinance No. 19192 approved on 6/22/2010 (or by public bid). DISCUSSION: Texas Health Resources , the developer of Texas Health Resources Harris Methodist Alliance; has executed a contract foe . 1: · !CE Community Facilities Agreement (CFA) to serve a development located in Fort Worth (see attached map) (City Secretary Contract No . 41462). This Amendment No . 1 provides for City participation in the amount of $72 ,515 .96 . Total construction cost for water improvements for this development is $317,794.24 . There is City participation for the construction :;-: of a 16-inch water main that will improve service to the Texas Health Resources Harris Methodist at Alliance and surrounding area .
