DISCUSSION:
On April 12 , 2011 , (M&C C-24865) the City Council awarded City Secretary Contract No . 42116 in the amount of
$2 ,197 ,095.00 to Schneider Electric Buildings Americas , Inc . (Schneider Electric), for the installation of alert
notification and security improvements at the Rolling Hills and Westside Water Treatment Plants . On July 10 , 2012 ,
(M&C C-25707) the City Council authorized the approval of Change Order No . 1 in the amount of $243 ,916 .00 for alert
notification improvements at the Village Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant. Total amended contract amount was
then $2 ,441 ,011.00 .

software and the integration of all cameras into our monitoring system . Proposed Change Order No . 2 , in the amount
of $302 ,011 .00 will increase the amended contract amount from $2 ,441 ,0 1 1.00 to $2,743 ,022 .00 .
