AWARDS
The purpose of this Informal Report is to provide an update on the Mayor's Community Engagement
Workshops and the 2023 Neighborhood Awards. This annual event allows the city to provide training for
our neighborhood leaders, as well as to recognize the outstanding work done by our neighborhoods. The
Fort Worth Neighborhood Awards were established in 2003 to encourage and recognize outstanding
neighborhood participation and projects.
This year's event will be held on March 2 at Doxology Bible Church, located at 4805 Arborlawn Dr. The
event will once again be free for participants, thanks to our generous sponsors Central Market and
Meritain. Benign

currently being finalized and will be shared with Council once it is complete. If you have a particular
organization that you think may be interested in participating, please let us know.
