COUNTY OF TARRANT
WHEREAS, The City of Fort Worth and RPGA(Consultant) made and entered into City
Secretary Contract No. 59228(The Contract) which was authorized by the City Council
by M&C C-23-0164, the 28th day of February, 2023, for Architectural Design Services
for Fire Station 26; and
WHEREAS, further amendment is necessary to reimburse the Consultant as part of the
design services agreement for additional design services for the addition of an officer's
suite (675SF). Impacts to the construction documents will reflect changes in
architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and civil sheets.
NOW THEREFORE, City and Consultant, acting herein by and through their duly
authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement which amends the
Contract:

Article I — Scope of Services, Paragraph (3) shall be added to read as follows:
(3) Provide additional design services for the design and detailing of Addition of an
Officer's Suite. The cost of this additional service is $33,000.00 plus $1,650.00 in
reimbursable expenses. The scope of services is described more fully in RPGA's Letter
dated December 29th, 2023, subject: "Fire Station #26 / Fort Worth, Texas Amendment
#1 —Addition of an Officer's Suite.

Article II — Compensation, first paragraph, is amended as follows:
"Consultant shall be compensated in accordance with the Fee Schedule shown
in Attachment "A". Payment shall be considered full compensation for all labor,
materials, supplies, and equipment necessary to complete the services
described in Attachment "A". However, the total fee paid by the City shall not
exceed a total of $471,570.00 unless the City and the Consultant mutually agree
upon a fee amount for additional services and amend this Agreement
accordingly."

Amendment #1 — Addition of an Officer's Suite
Mr. Serrano,
In order that we might reach a clear understanding, please accept this as our proposal for additional
Architectural/engineering services as required to revise the prototype design to include one additional
Officer's Suite that will be designated as a Battalion Chief's suite. We submit the following for your
consideration and approval.
I. Proiect Description
A. General Description: The addition of an officer's suite requires revisions to documents
from most of the consultants involved in the site adaption of the prototype fire station design.
The change will add approximately 675 s.f. to the officer's area, with an anticipated
additional construction cost of $550,000.
B. Changes to the construction documents will include changes to architectural, structural,
mechanical, electrical, plumbing drawings as well as some initial civil design documentation.
II. Compensation:
A. Based on our understanding of the scope of services to be performed for revisions to add
the officer's suite, our additional services fees are as stated below. Fees as quoted are
good for a period of (90) ninety days from the date of this proposal.
Proposed Arch itectural/Enaineerina Additional Services Fees for the addition of an
Officer's Suite to FS #26.
Owner agrees to pay the Architect for additional services rendered under this agreement.
The Architect's fee for Additional Services shall be a flat fee based on the following
understanding.
