;rEx"y Subject: Transitional Issues and Staff Realignment
't 73
In the months to come, a number of important issues will require
the attention of City Council and staff. Many have long-range
impact on municipal services while others are more immediate, but
nevertheless, important. Resolution of these issues may be more
difficult than usual because of Council' s participation in the
city manager selection process.
To address these issues in an appropriate and timely manner, the
City Manager' s staff has met extensively recently to determine
how best to utilize existing staff during the next few months of
transition. Some issues are at the point presentation for Council
consideration. Others, however, are still in the developmental
stage.
Issues for which suggested timetables for Council consideration
have been identified are as follows:

need for interim financing. Staff report on beginning
the process of identifying projects to include in the
next capital improvements bond election.
