As you will recall ) the City Council and citizenry were presented
in early October with a preliminary listing of projects for
consideration in the 1986-68 Capital Improvmement Program . These
projects were identified after staff Had made considerable reveiw
of community needs and it is anticipated that there will be
adjustments to these projects by the City Council based on
citizen input . This cit i zen input was to be obtained from a
series of public meetings and an intensive effort has been
underway during the month of October with numerous neighborhood
meetings conducted across the City . The purpose of these
meetings is to explain the tentative listing of projects to
interested citizens and to receive feedback on the citizens '
perception of project priorities .
In an effort to insure that all citizens and organizations are
afforded the opportunity to become familiar with and provide
feedback on the CIP during this input process , several concluding
row meetings Have been scheduled. On November 6; 1985) a meeting for
all interested citizens will be Held at ??30:30 in the City Council

includes an overview of the ClP process and tentative schedule
leading to the bond election , the presentation by staff of the
tentative listing of projects , and aperiod of receiving and
recording any comments or priorities which the citizens may wish
to express . Further , key staff members will be available to
answer any questions or provide explanation , where necessary . In
addition to receiving feedback and responding to questions from
those citizens present at the meeting , telephone lines will be
available for citizens to call in for this purpose during the
meeting .
Following the meeting to be Held in the Council Chambers, five
