Y• SUBJECT: PROPOSED COUNCIL.-INITIATED ZONING CHANGES FOR 1441
ALTAMESA BOULEVARD, 7040 CAMELOT ROAD, AND THE 6800 BLOCK OF
CROWLEY ROAD
The November 3, 2009 City Council agenda will contain an M&C to initiate the zoning process for
1 401 Altamesa Boulevard, 7000 Camelot Road, and the 6800 block of Crowley Road that lie east of
Crowley Road and south of Altamesa Boulevard. The purpose of the proposed zoning changes is to
rezone vacant land to zoning classifications that are consistent with the 2009 Comprehensive Plan.
For your reference, the attached PowerPoint presentation shows the future land use from the 2009
Comprehensive Plan, the current zoning, and the proposed zoning. Councilmember Jordan mailed
letters to the affected property owners regarding the proposed zoning changes in May 2009. No
opposition has been expressed to date.
The public hearings for the rezoning of these properties would be held on December 9, 2004, at the
Zoning Commission meeting and at the City Council meeting of January 5, 2010.
