Call to Order - Mattie Parker, Mayor With a quorum of the City Council Members present, Mayor Parker called the Special Called Budget Work Session on the FY2025 Budget Meeting to order at 10:07 a.m. on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, in the City Council Conference Room 2020, 2nd Floor of the Fort Worth City Hall, 200 Texas Street, Fort Worth, Texas. 2. Opening Comments - David Cooke, City Manager 3. Discussion on Property Tax Revenue - Christianne Simmons, Chief Transformation Officer Christianne Simmons, Chief Transformational Officer, provided a short summary of the topics for the work session and introduced City Manager David Cooke and Brady Kirk, FWLab Budget Manager who would be leading the conversation this morning. Paygo Implications Amethyst Sloan, FWLab Performance Manager, provided a summary of the Engagement Tools staff was launching this year. Isaac Robles, FWLab Strategy and Performance Analyst, provided an overview of the Thought Exchange tool. Bryan Bellamy, FWLab Strategy and Performance Analyst, provided an overview of the Balancing Act tool. 4. Upcoming Schedule - Christianne Simmons, Chief Transformation Officer Budget Submissions are due May 10, 2024. Next work sessions scheduled for June 4, 2024 and June 18, 2024. Upcoming topics: Departmental budget previews - will confirm later this month and provide details in advance. Capital maintenance/budget scenarios Additional FY25 revenue forecasting Council Member Hill requested a snapshot of each departments budget for the previous five years. 5.
