Home My WebLink AboutContract 60469-A1AMENDMENT No.01 CSC No. 60469-Al TO CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT No. 60469 WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth (CITY) and Olsson, Inc., (ENGINEER) made and entered into City Secretary Contract No. 59881, (the CONTRACT) which was authorized by M&C 23-0889 on the 17th day of October, 2023 in the amount of$ 309,955.00; and WHEREAS, the CONTRACT involves engineering services for the following project: Neighborhood Park Iq,rovements at Coventry Hi11s, Mosier Va11ey, Martin Luther King and Timber1and Parks, CPN 104695, 104697, 104699, 104670; and WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment No. 01 to the CONTRACT to include an increased scope of work and revised fee. NOW THEREFORE, CITY and ENGINEER, acting herein by and through their duly authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement, which amends the CONTRACT: 1. Article I of the CONTRACT is amended to include the additional engineering services specified in proposal attached hereto and incorporated herein. The cost to City for the additional design services to be performed by Engineer totals $12,100.00. (See Attached Funding Breakdown Sheet, Page -5-) 2. Article II of the CONTRACT is amended to provide for an increase in the fee to be paid to Engineer for all work and services performed under the Contract, as amended, so that the total fee paid by the City for all work and services shall be an amount of $322,055.00. 3. (“Olsson”) providing for professional services for the following Project (the “Agreement”): PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND LOCATION Project is located at: Coventry Hill Park, Mosier Valley Park, Martin Luther King Park, and Timberland Park Project Description: Neighborhood Park Improvements SCOPE OF SERVICES Client and Olsson hereby agree that Olsson’s Scope of Services under the Agreement is amended by adding the services specifically described below for the additional compensation set forth below: Preliminary Drainage Study Olsson shall prepare a preliminary drainage study for Coventry and Timberland Parks, to be submitted with the construction documents. Preliminary drainage study will include the following services to align with City requirements: Perform a downstream assessment of properties that may be impacted by Project development(s), including hydrologic analysis to determine existing, proposed, and fully developed runoff for drainage area. Assessment will be limited to zone of influence, as determined by the point where the development comprises 10% of the total drainage area. Prepare narrative supporting methodology to demonstrate zone of influence and adequate outfall determination and conclusions for design storms. Develop pre- and post-development drainage area maps for inclusion in study documentation. Compile hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) computation tables. Submit study to City for review and comment. Respond to comments and clarifications from City review. Page 2 of 3 Deliverables Drainage study for Coventry Hills Park and Timberland Park to include pre- and post- development maps and supporting documentation Meetings One (1) virtual meeting with City staff to review drainage studies for Coventry and Timberland Parks EXCLUSIONS Drainage studies for Mosier Valley Park and Martin Luther King Park Flood plain permitting for Coventry Hills Park, Mosier Valley Park, Timberland Park, and Martin Luther King Park SCHEDULE FOR OLSSON’S SERVICES Unless otherwise agreed, Olsson expects to perform its services covered by this Amendment as follows: Anticipated Start Date: June 10, 2024 Anticipated Completion Date: August 30, 2024 Olsson will endeavor to start its services on the Anticipated Start Date and to complete its services on the Anticipated Completion Date. However, the Anticipated Start Date, the Anticipated Completion Date, and any milestone dates are approximate only, and Olsson reserves the right to adjust its schedule and any or all of those dates at its sole discretion, for any reason, including, but not limited to, delays caused by Client or delays caused by third parties. COMPENSATION For the additional Scope of Services specifically set forth in this Amendment, Client shall pay Olsson the following fee in addition to the fee(s) set forth in the Agreement: Client shall pay to Olsson for the performance of the Scope of Services a lump sum of Twelve Thousand One Hundred Dollars ($12,100.00) plus reimbursable expenses in accordance with the Reimbursable Expense Schedule attached to the original Agreement. Olsson shall submit invoices on a monthly basis, and payment is due within 30 calendar days of invoice date. TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE All provisions of the original Agreement not specifically amended herein shall remain unchanged.
