At a recent Pre-Council meeting, Councilman Williams requested information
concerning the level of staffing in the Revenue Collection Office since
Tarrant Appraisal District's assumption of some tax assessing and related
functions.
The table presented below reflects staffing from 1982-83, the year prior to
any functions being transferred to TAD, thru 1986-87, the current fiscal year.

Notes-.
a. Transfer to TAD began in 1983-84; however, the 22
assessors remained as City employees and were
contracted to TAD.
b. The six remaining assessors in 1984-85 were those
with less than three years to retirement which the
City retained.
c. Reorganization in 1985-86 consolidated all
employees into the Collection function.
If any additional information is required, the staff will be pleased to
provide it.
