WORTH, TX Contract Renewal Page 2 of 2 ODLON-DEMAND LEADERSHIP L E A R N - u U - R E F L E C 1 June 26, 2024 2025 City of Fort Worth IT Solutions Professional Development Program (A) Purpose of the Program: The purpose of the City of Fort Worth IT Solutions Professional Development Program is to facilitate individual growth and development of supervisors, managers, and other key employees in Fort Worth IT Solutions. (B) Kev Program Components: Leadership Group Sessions. Team sessions cover relevant leader development topics with guided discussions about IT Solutions issues and opportunities. (C) Program Details and Pricing: Bi-Monthly Leadership Team Sessions (6 sessions at 4 hours each) Selected Topics: Critical Thinking (retained from 2024), plus 5 other topics from the following list: Persuasive Strategies Building Better Habits Boosting Organizational Commitment Building Consensus Peak Performance Creating Urgency Difficult Conversations Time Management Memorable Messages Resolving Conflict Boosting Generosity Fighting Negativity Exercising Restraint Creativity and Insight Getting Things Done Happiness at Work Managing the Generations Increasing Gratitude Resilience Strategies/Burnout Prevention Total Program Cost is $25,300 for six group sessions plus consultant travel of $624 per group session ($624 x 6 sessions). There is no printing charge for materials if the City of Fort Worth can print session handouts. Each group session will be invoiced individually after the session is complete. (D) Guarantee: Cynthia Tyree can suspend this agreement at any time, for any reason. All completed work and non-refundable travel will be paid, but fees will not accumulate for scheduled, but undelivered, sessions. (E) Program Facilitators: Drs. Darrin Griffin, Brian Richardson, Cindi Baldi, and Geoffrey Tumlin will facilitate the 2025 IT Solutions Professional Development Program sessions. Dr. Darrin Griffin is associate professor in the Department of Communication Studies at The University of Alabama, where he served as the department chair from 2022-2024. He is an expert on communication and group performance who has a published books, book chapters, and over twenty scholarly articles. Darrin's research has been funded by the National Science Foundation, his PhD is from SUNY Buffalo, and his MA and BA are from the University of Texas at ` Austin. He consults across the United States and has served as an expert 1' witness in numerous jury trials. Before entering graduate school, Darrin was a licensed plumber. Dr. Brian Richardson is professor and graduate studies director at the University of North Texas. He is published widely and is internationally recognized as an expert in the field of crisis communication and organizational performance. He is an editor at Management Communication Quarterly who has consulted throughout the United States. Brian holds a PhD from the University of Texas at Austin and an MA in human relations and supervision from Louisiana Tech University. His undergraduate degree is from Lamar University. Brian was born and raised in Texas and he lives in the Metroplex. He loves Texas music and still misses Jerry Jeff Walker, who he saw in concert Dr. C;ndi Bald; is the founder and CEO of management science firm Culsure, the lead data scientist at On -Demand Leadership, and the co -host of the Management Muse podcast. Cindi holds a PhD, an MBA, and an MS in Management from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin, and a BS in Management from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Cindi is an expert on organizational behavior and effectiveness and has presented her research worldwide at institutions like the Stanford Business School, the INSEAD School of Business in France, and Ben-Gurion Univers;ty in Israel. C;ndi has written mult;ple articles on organizational issues for research journals and scholarly publications. Cindi is a serial entrepreneur who has created profitable companies throughout the United States. Growing up, her family owned a zoo, a haunted house, and a drive-in movie theatre. As a result, she knows a ton about animals and can probably beat you at Galaga. Dr. Geoffrey Tumlin is the President of On -Demand Leadership and is the author of Stop Talking, Start Communicating, published internationally by ... i McGraw-Hill. Geoffrey is a national media expert on leadership, communication, and organizational performance, and his writing and ideas have been featured in dozens of media outlets including the Chicago Tribune, the L.A Times, CNN/Fortune.com, and SiriusXM radio. Geoffrey holds a PhD and an MA from the University of Texas at Austin and a BS from the United \ States Military Academy at West Point. Geoffrey has worked with some of the most prestigious organizations in the world, including Boston Scientific, Shell Oil, Tripler Army Hospital, Dow Chemical, the Houston Grand Opera, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and Baylor Scott and White Healthcare.
