AMENDMENT #1
THIS AMENDMENT is made by and between the State of Texas, acting through the Texas Department of
Transportation, called the "State", and the City of Fort Worth, acting by and through its duly authorized
officials, called the "Local Government". The State and Local Government shall be collectively referred to
as "the parties" hereinafter.
►VAii►1*19a11:1
WHEREAS, the parties executed a contract on August 24, 2023 to effectuate their agreement to conduct
a study for the project recommendations regarding the Butler Housing areas ; and,
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to amend that contract in order to discovery of the regional impacts of
the project;
NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises and of the mutual covenants and agreements of the
parties, the parties do agree as follows:
AGREEMENT
1. The parties agree that the Agreement is amended as follows:
Article 1, Period of the Agreement, is amended to extend the termination date from August 31,
2024 to August 31, 2025 due to the discovery that providing access to Butler place has a
regional impact which also has to be assessed (access would come directly in the path of
downtown master plan which is where TexRail, bus station, and eventually convention center
expansion and high speed rail would take place). Assess how this will impact downtown master
plan and our mobility as well as the impact to providing access through our historic districts to
the south.
2. Attachment A, Scope of Work, is deleted in its entirety and replaced with Attachment A-1, Scope
of Work, which is attached to and made part of this Amendment. The Task Duration timelines
have been changed due to the additional time needed to complete task related to the regional
impacts on the project.
All other provisions of the original contract are unchanged and remain in full force and effect.

us. Thus, you can receive all the disclosures and notices electronically or in paper format through
the paper mail delivery system. If you do not agree with this process, please let us know as
