HomeMy WebLinkAboutContract 60545-AD2CSC No. 60545-AD2 SECOND ADDENDUM TO CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. 60545 This Second Addendum to City Secretary Contract Number 60545 ("Second Addendum") is entered into by and between the City of Fort Worth ("City"), a home -rule municipal corporation of the State of Texas, acting by and through its duly authorized Deputy City Manager, and Brown Mountain Art Restoration ("Conservator"), acting by and through Laura Pate, its owner. The City has designated the Arts Council of Fort Worth & Tarrant County, Inc. d/b/a Arts Fort Worth, to manage this Agreement on its behalf. WHEREAS, on November 27, 2023, the City and Conservator entered into a non- exclusive professional services agreement whereby Conservator will provide general maintenance, conservation, and consultation to the City for the City's art Collection, said contract being City Secretary Contract ("CSC") No. 60545 ("Agreement"); and WHEREAS, the Agreement sets forth that the services to be provided shall be based on the annual Fort worth Public Art work plan and on an as -needed basis in accordance with fully executed addenda; and WHEREAS, on March 14, 2024, City and Conservator executed a First Addendum to the Agreement in order to set forth services to be provided per the Agreement in accordance with the terms therein; and WHEREAS, work in this Second Addendum, including repairs and regular maintenance treatments for artworks listed below, will be scheduled and completed pending weather and access. Any work that is not able to be completed prior to the end of the Agreement term shall be documented and submitted in written form to the City with supporting detail; NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants herein expressed, the parties agree as follows: I. Conservator shall perform general maintenance and conservation treatment services annually and on an as -needed basis on the following artworks in the Collection pursuant to the terms of the Agreement and any terms contained within any subsequent addenda, including this Second Addendum: • Six 4' diameter tile medallions —Locations include two murals installed at Brennan Bridge (Trail Driver's Dream), two installed at Dewey Bridge (Leather, Roses, and Stars), and two temporarily deinstalled and in storage (Embroidery Dreams).
