HomeMy WebLinkAboutContract 56908-A2AMENDMENT No. Two CSC No. 56908-A2 TO CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT No. 56908 WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth (CITY) and Brinkley Sargent Wiginton, Inc, (ARCHITECT) made and entered into City Secretary Contract No. 56908, (the CONTRACT) which was authorized administratively on the 30th day of December, 2021 in the amount of $ 99,900.00; and WHEREAS, the CONTRACT was subsequently revised by: Amendment Number 1 in the amount of $879,620.00 which was authorized by M&C 22-0694 on the 13th day of September 2022. WHEREAS, the CONTRACT involves architectural services for the following project: Forest Park ENFAC, CPN 56908; and WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment No. TWO to the CONTRACT to include an increased scope of work and revised fee. NOW THEREFORE, CITY and ARCHITECT, acting herein by and through their duly authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement, which amends the CONTRACT: 1. Article I of the CONTRACT is amended to include the additional architectural services specified in proposal attached hereto and incorporated herein. The cost to City for the additional design services to be performed by the Architect totals $0.00. (See Attached Funding Breakdown Sheet, Page -4-) 2. Article II of the CONTRACT is amended to provide for an increase in the fee to be paid to architect for all work and services performed under the Contract, as amended, so that the total fee paid by the City for all work and services shall be an amount of $979,520.00 (NO CHANGE). 3. ASSET MAINTENANCE AND CAPITAL PLANNING: Refer to attached proposal from Counsilman Hunsaker for detailed description of services B. SUMMARY OF PROFESSIONAL FEES: Counsilman-Hunsaker $11,500 BSW $2,000 Reimbursable Allowance (estimated) $1,000 Omit plattiniz and commissioning scope of services ($14,500) TOTAL CONTRACT AMENDMENT $0 Note: Any remaining portions of omitted services or reimbursable allowance will not be billed. Forest Park Aquatic Center Page 1 of 1 Counsilman - Hunsaker AQUATICS FOR LIFE Task 1. Asset List Creation A. Provide a list of each structure and equipment unit that have an asset lifespan of more than 2 years and total cost (for total number of units) of over $10,000. The list will include all items contracted for installation during the construction phase of the Forest Park Pool: i. Land structures — driveways, parking lots, playground equipment, waterslides and similar assets. ii. Building structures — roofs, siding, wiring, floor coverings and similar assets. iii. Machinery and Equipment — Computer hardware, HVAC, ice compressors, cooling towers, tractors, appliances and similar assets. iv. Furniture and fixtures — shelving, desks, chairs and similar assets v. Computer software B. The Consultant will provide a list of assets meeting the proposed criteria that will be included in the Capital Replacement analysis. Task 2. Asset Plan and Budget Creation A. Asset Plan and Budget i. Review the current list of specialty equipment and available preventative maintenance plans ii. Review the Operations and Maintenance Manuals provided by the Owner and identify any missing manuals iii. Provide a summary of each asset with a recommendation on: 1. the current condition of each asset 2. how the asset will be maintained, i.e. through Owner maintenance staff, or through commercial service contracts 3. lifespan of each asset iv. Deliverables: 1. Missing maintenance manuals 2. Asset summaries B. Capital Maintenance Plan and Budget i. Provide a Plan of Action and Milestones with details of which projects should be completed each year, and budgetary costs for each 1. Project or assets in this plan should have a lifespan of 2 years or more 2. Projects in this plan should have a total cost of $10,000 or more 3. Projects in this plan should be estimated out for a period of 20 years Deliverables 1. List of proposed projects 2. Scope of work outlines and budgetary estimates for each project by year 3. Plan of action showing execution dates for each project Fees. A. Consultinq Fees. In consideration of the Consulting Services provided by Consultant to Owner hereunder, Owner shall pay to Consultant a lump sum of $11,500.00 including one (1) site visits. Task 1.
