CALL TO ORDER
With a quorum of the City Council Members present, Mayor Parker called the City
Council Public Comment Meeting of the Fort Worth City Council to order at 6:05 p.m.
on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, in the City Council Chamber of the Fort Worth City Hall, 200
Texas Street, Fort Worth, Texas.

The invocation was provided by Council Member Chris Nettles.

The Pledges of Allegiances to the United States of America and the State of Texas were
recited.
CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES
Motion: Council Member Lauersdorf made a motion, seconded by Council Member Hill
that the Budget Work Session, Work Session, and Public Comment meetings of
May 7, 2024, the Joint City Council Fort Worth Employees' Retirement Fund
Board, and the Council meetings of May 14, 2024, be approved. Motion passed
8-0, Council Members Williams and Blaylock absent and Mayor Pro tem Bivens
away from dais.

LUCA's use of public facilities.

Reed Bilz appeared before Council relative to an event on June 8th.

Homer Blocker III appeared before Council relative to gun violence.
Alonda Massey, representing the Hillside Neighborhood Association, appeared
before Council relative to the park playground.
Andrew Teeter, representing the DSA, appeared before Council relative to raising
the minimum wage to 20 dollars.

Jherre Williams, representing the Historic Southside Neighborhood Association,
appeared before Council relative to neighborhood issues needing to be addressed.
Karle Palomares appeared before Council relative to the budget.
James Baker -Murphy completed a speaker card relative to community event and
was recognized by Mayor Parker but was not present in the Council Chamber.
David Christie, representing the Arlington Fire Department, appeared before
Council relative to the proposed route of the Northside III 54" Water Main project.
Charles Blitz appeared before Council relative to the LUCA evet on City property.
Adrian Smith completed a speaker card relative to boa and was recognized by
Mayor Parker but was not present in the Council Chamber.
Robert Vann appeared before Council relative to hate groups request to use Fort
Worth public venues.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, Mayor Parker adjourned the meeting at 7:08 p.m. in
honor of Benjamin Fortson who passed away on May 19, 2024.
