With a quorum of the City Council Members present, Mayor Parker called the City
Council Work Session of the Fort Worth City Council to order 1:51 p.m. on Tuesday,
June 4, 2024, in the City Council Conference Room 2020 of the Fort Worth City Hall,
200 Texas Street, Fort Worth, Texas.

City Manager Cooke called on William Johnson, Assistant City Manager, to recognize
Police, Fire and Medstar employees, for saving the life of a police officer at Bob
Bolen.
City Manager Cooke called on Dana Burghdoff, Assistant City Manager, to recognize
city employees for being great partners in film permitting and promoting filming in Fort
Worth by Visit Fort Worth/Fort Worth Film Commission.
City Manager Cooke called on Jesica McEachern, Assistant City Manager, to
recognize the City's first UTA MPA Cohort Graduates.
City Manager Cooke called on Jesica McEachern, Assistant City Manager, to
recognize Amy Connolly and Teanna Thompson for being Selected as Top 100
Influencers in Local Government by Emerging Local Government Leaders (ELGL).

Division.

Council Member Hill requested a presentation or update on current spay/neuter ordinance
including citation fee for noncompliance; report on the new managed intake program;
current live release rate; report on how medical records are maintained on animals in the
shelters' care; policy and procedures on how animals are assessed, treated, and
euthanized; and a list of cities that are leaders in shelter best practices and their live release
rates.

offenders living in one house.
