Trinity Blvd and Reggis Ct Traffic Signal 104000 CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT ROUTING & TRANSMITTAL SLIP I Eff 01-13-2024, mdhm Amendment Purpose Statement: The purpose of this engineering amendment is to provide for additional construction phase services and TDLR inspection. The northwest corner signal pole and ramps on all four corners requires significant redesign. For the northwest corner signal pole, it was moved twice after the 100% design due to a number of utility conflicts. The ramps have extreme grades and initially the engineer attempted to implement the city standard ramp. However, we will have to eliminate the west crosswalk with Traffic Management's concurrence and switch to TOOT standard ramps. This is ongoing and will require coordination with the contractor as they layout the ramp solution and provide feedback to engineer as necessary to ensure feasibility and compliance with standards. Transystem has confirmed that this amendment will ensure we have the necessary construction phase services to bring this project to complete construction. We have reviewed a similar intersection project for design cost and found the costs for this project to be reasonable. Trinity Blvd and Reggis Ct Traffic Signal 104000
