RESEARCH AND INNOVATION LOCAL GOVERNMENT CORPORATION
RESOLUTION
OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
WHEREAS, the Texas State Legislature has authorized the formation of interlocal
cooperating contracts between and among governmental entities;
WHEREAS, the Research and Innovation Local Government Corporation ("RILGC") and
City of Fort Worth selected Aggieland Fort Worth Partners, LLC ("Developer") to develop the
parcels on the TAMUS downtown Fort Worth campus that do not include the Law and Education
Building ("Research Development"); and
WHEREAS, the RILGC and Texas A&M University System ("TAMUS") desire to enter
into an interlocal agreement pursuant to Chapter 791 of the Texas Government Code to detail the
collaboration between both parties in the development of a concept plan for the Research
Development.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE RESEARCH AND INNOVATION LOCAL GOVERNMENT CORPORATION:
1. The RILGC is hereby authorized to enter into an Interlocal Agreement with
TAMUS to detail the collaboration between both parties in the development of a concept plan for
the Research Development which includes TAMUS transferring one million dollars ($1,000,000)
to the RILGC to pay for the concept plan.
2. This Resolution takes effect from the date of its adoption.
