As a consequence, the stage pit cannot be used by the various companies that perform at the Scott . Upcoming productions of Fort Worth Theatre, the Fort Worth Opera and the Littlest Wise Man are scheduled in this facility. Scott Theatre management has secured proposals from four qualified companies to repair the stage, and the City's Transportation and Public Works staff has reviewed the proposals. The recommended proposal is from Armour Elevator Company, Inc. in the amount of $18,000 . Unless the Council directs otherwise, ' .the Scott Theatre will proceed with the repairs; the City will inspect the work and reimburse the Scott for the expenditure. As you will recall , the City received a request from the Modern Art Museum in May for the City to fund repairs to an air conditioning compressor and a boiler from the heating system that service both the museum and the theatre. To expedite the work, the Museum proceeded with the repairs and has submitted invoices in the amount of $18, 951 for reimbursement . We plan to include this request on next week's agenda for your consideration. Please let me know if you require additional information.
