AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO
FORT WORTH CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. 62118
BETWEEN CITY OF FORT WORTH AND CBS STATIONS GROUP OF TEXAS LLC
This Amendment to Fort Worth City Secretary Contract No. 62118 ("Amendment") is
made between the City of Fort Worth ("City"), a Texas home -rule municipal corporation, and
CBS STATIONS GROUP OF TEXAS LLC ("Vendor"), a Texas commercial digital television
station acting by and through its duly authorized representative, individually referred to as a
"party" and collectively as the "parties".
WHEREAS, the parties entered into an agreement identified as Fort Worth City Secretary
Contract No. 62118 beginning October 15, 2024 ("Agreement");
WHEREAS, the current term expires on October 14, 2025, unless terminated earlier in
accordance with the Agreement; and
WHEREAS, it is the collective desire of the parties to amend the Agreement to include
additional potential events during the contract term in order to provide promotional assistance
supporting Amplify817.org and Amplify 817 artists supported by the Fort Worth Public Library.
NOW THEREFORE, known by all these present, the parties, acting herein by and
through their duly authorized representatives, agree to the following terms, which amend the
Agreement as follows:
I.
AMENDMENT
The following term hereby amends the Agreement to either replace any conflicting term in
the Agreement or shall be added to the terms and shall be binding and enforceable as if it were
originally included therein:
The previous Exhibit A is hereby replaced with the attached Exhibit A.
II.
ALL OTHER TERMS SHALL REMAIN THE SAME
All other terms, provisions, conditions, covenants and recitals of the Agreement not
expressly amended herein shall remain in full force and effect.
III.
ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE
This Amendment may be executed in multiple counterparts, each of which shall be an
original and all of which shall constitute one and the same instrument. A facsimile copy or
computer image, such as a PDF or tiff image, or a signature, shall be treated as and shall have the
same effect as an original.

EXHIBIT A
SCOPE OF SERVICES
To mutually support Fort Worth -based musicians, the parties agree to the following terms
related to performances and promotions of Amplify 817 and associated CBS 11 programs and
sponsorships:
• The Fort Worth Public Library (FWPL) staff may assist in recruiting musicians to
perform at the Crossroads of Texas Country Festival for the CBS Texas Theater and for
CBS Texas holiday music special.
o Festival is held in October
o Holiday Special is aired in December
• CBS 11 will secure performance contracts with up to four Amplify 817 artists
recommended by FWPL staff for the Crossroads of Texas Country Festival and
coordinate payment between artists and CBS 11.
• Fort Worth Public Library's music service, Amplify 817 will promote all artists
performing in CBS coordinated events in Amplify 817 social media channels.
• Leading up to the Crossroads of Texas Country Festival, CBS 11 will call the main stage
at the CBS Texas Theater in Waxahachie, TX the "Amplify 817 Stage".
• Leading up to the CBS Texas Holiday Music Special CBS 11 will acknowledge
performers as Amplify 817 musicians from Fort Worth.
• CBS 11 will provide FWPL booth space staffed by library employees at the CBS Texas
Theater to promote Amplify 817 music streaming service.
• FWPL will provide Amplify 817 banners and signage on display at the CBS Texas
Theater and will coordinate staging for the Holiday Music Special.
• CBS 11 will provide media support for the Amplify 817 Showcase hosted annually in
August for the terms of this agreement.
o Fort Worth Public Library maintains rights and responsibilities for artist selection,
contracting and payment for performances.
o CBS 11 agrees to provide promotional assistance in the terms of broadcast and
digital channel commercials for the Showcase featuring concert lineup
o CBS 11 will also promote the Showcase in social media channels in the two (2)
weeks prior to the concert.
o Fort Worth Public Library will provide booth space at the event, and recognition
of CBS 11 as a program sponsor in online advertising, website and print
promotional collateral.
Both organizations will permit the use of Amplify817 logo and CBS News Texas logo in
accordance with their respective brand standards on promotional materials, websites and
social media related to the Amplify 817 Showcase, the Crossroads of Texas Country
Festival and the CBS holiday music special.
