Typical options for use included the Zoo, Japanese Gardens, golf courses and tennis courts. Last spring, staff initiated a review.of the Honorary Pass program and determined that revisions should be made to update and better formalize the program. In accordance with this review, a revised program entitled City Official Inspection Pass has been developed. This administrative policy authorizes inspection, participation, monitoring and/or observation of activities and facilities under the jurisdiction of the Park and Recreation Department. Inspection passes are to be issued to current City Council and Park and Recreation Board members only. Attached is a copy of the policy including a list of facilities and activities to which the cardholder qualifies. New cards will be issued in the near future for all individuals who qualify under the revised program. Unless City Council directs otherwise, we will put this new program into effect as soon as the new passes can be distributed.
