DISCUSSION: In the FY2001-2002 Contract Major Maintenance Program, various types of street maintenance techniques are grouped into specific contract packages. HMAC SurFace O�erlay 2002-9 prouides for surface and base rehabilita�ian, rep�acement af faiied c�rb and gutter, and dri�eway approaches fior asphalt streets at variflus locafions. The sireets ir�cluded in this cantract are planned far the replacement af water andlor sewer lines. The Transporta�ion and Public Works Department has determined that curb ta curh restoration of the pavement surFace is the best op#ion for th� repair of thes� streets.
