Home My WebLink AboutContract 58960-A2R2CSC No. 58960-A2R2 SECOND AMENDMENT AND SECOND RENEWAL OF CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. 58960, A NON-EXCLUSIVE MOWING AND GROUNDS MAINTENANCE SERVICES AGREEMENT FOR SOUTH AND WEST DISTRICT CITY FACILITIES AND PARKS BETWEEN THE CITY OF FORT WORTH AND LAWN PATROL SERVICE, INC. This SECOND AMENDMENT AND SECOND RENEWAL OF CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NUMBER 58960 ("Second Amendment and Second Renewal") is made and entered into by and between the CITY OF FORT WORTH ("City"), a home -rule municipal corporation of the State of Texas, acting by and through its duly authorized Assistant City Manager, and LAWN PATROL SERVICE, INC. ("Contractor), a Texas corporation, acting by and through its duly authorized representative WHEREAS, the City and Contractor entered into a non-exclusive mowing and grounds maintenance services agreement, the same being Fort Worth City Secretary Contract ("CSC") Number 58960 ("Agreement"); WHEREAS, the primary term of the Agreement expired on November 30, 2023 and includes five (5) one-year renewal options; WHEREAS, the City and Contractor exercised the First Renewal Option and First Amendment, which expired on November 30, 2024, the same being CSC No. 58960-A1R1; the Amendment to the Agreement increased all line items by 3.0%; WHEREAS, the parties desire to exercise the second one-year renewal term ("Second Renewal Term"), effective beginning on December 1 2024, and ending on November 30, 2025; WHEREAS, the parties also desire to amend portions of Section 4, Section 10, Exhibit A, Exhibit B, and Exhibit C to update the billing address and inventory pricing beginning with the Second Renewal Term; and NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants and promises set forth herein and other good and valuable consideration, the sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, the City and Contractor agree to renew and amend the Agreement as follows: The City and Contractor agree to renew and amend the Agreement for the Second Renewal term of one year, effective beginning on December 1, 2024 and ending on November 30, 2025. II. Exhibit B of the Agreement is hereby amended to revise the pricing schedule by 2.65% for the specific locations set forth below. Failure to supply and maintain such insurance will be a breach of contract. Contractor will provide complete copies of all insurance policies required by this Agreement.
