Crain, District 3 Council Member Charlie Lauersdorf, District 4 Staff Present: Jesus "Jay" Chapa, City Manager Leann Guzman, City Attorney Jannette Goodall, City Secretary CALL TO ORDER With a quorum of the City Council Members present, Mayor Pro tem Bivens called the City Council Public Comment Meeting of the Fort Worth City Council to order at 6:12 p.m. on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, in the City Council Chamber of the Fort Worth City Hall, 200 Texas Street, Fort Worth, Texas. CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES Motion: Council Member Hill made a motion, seconded by Council Member Nettles, that the Work Session and Public Comment meetings of February 4, 2025, be approved. Gerald Banks Sr. completed a speaker card relative to profiling, police brutality, wrongful arrest/killing, wrongful prosecution, end qualified immunity, etc. and was recognized by Mayor Pro tem Bivens but was not present in the Council Chamber. James Walker, representing Community Leadership United, completed a speaker card relative to an introduction and recommendations and was recognized by Mayor Pro tem Bivens but was not present in the Council Chamber. Wesley Kirk, representing Support Fort Worth Art, appeared before Council relative to community engagement for the FWCAC. Homer Blocker III appeared before Council relative to 55 and up apartments. Rosemary Galdiano, representing Worth Heights Neighborhood Association, appeared before Council relative to public library. Vicki Bargas appeared before Council relative to library. Payton Jackson completed a speaker card and was recognized by Mayor Pro tem Bivens but did not wish to address the Council. Jim DeLong appeared before Council relative to third grade. Carolina Rodriguez completed a speaker card relative to tba and was recognized by Mayor Pro tem Bivens but was not present in the Council Chamber.
