Report of the City Manager - David Cooke, City Manager a. Upcoming and Recent Events There were no upcoming and recent events. b. Organizational Updates and Employee Recognition(s) City Manager David Cooke called on William Rumuly to provide a quick update on Municipal Court Week activities. Questions Regarding City Council M&C Log for November 12, 2024 Council Meeting There were no questions regarding City Council M&C Log for November 12, 2024. 5. Fort Worth Convention Center Expansion and Renovation Phase 2 Update — Michael Crum, Public Events Director Presentation was made by Michael Crum, Public Events Director. 6. Update on Crime Lab - Neil Noakes, Police Chief Presentation was made by Neil Noakes, Police Chief. 7. City Council Requests for Future Agenda Items and/or Reports Council Member Beck requested an update on boarding homes. Mayor Pro tem Bivens requested a report on the need for quality childcare that is likened to the Fort Worth education projects details; presented by Council district. Council Member Nettles requested a Race & Culture Task Force - update on all the items listed including housing, diversity and inclusion in the employment workplace; what has not been implemented yet. Council Member Williams requested a report on stolen vehicles, which type of car is more susceptible to being stolen; share with residents what they can to do help protect themselves.
