HomeMy WebLinkAboutContract 59750-A3R2CSC: 59750-A3R2 THIRD AMENDMENT AND SECOND RENEWAL TO CITY OF FORT WORTH CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT No. 59750 This Third Amendment and Second Renewal to City Secretary Contract No. 59750 ("Third Amendment and Second Renewal") is entered into by and between the CITY OF FORT WORTH ("City"), a home rule municipality of the State of Texas, and BODE CELLMARK FORENSICS, INC. ("Vendor"), a Delaware C-Corporation owned by MLC Holdings. City and Vendor may be referred to individually as a Parry and collectively as the Parties. WHEREAS, on July 11, 2023, the Parties entered into City Secretary Contract No. 59750 (the "Agreement") for the Vendor to provide DNA testing services, including the testing of biological material in cold cases and active cases, reducing backlogs, and reducing turnaround times, for the City; WHEREAS, it is the collective desire of both City and Vendor to amend the Agreement to replace Exhibit B with Exhibit B-1 to update pricing; and WHEREAS, it is the collective desire of both City and Vendor to renew the Agreement, as amended, for an additional one-year term. NOW, THEREFORE, the Parties, acting herein by and through their duly authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement: 1. AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT The Agreement is hereby amended to replace Payment Schedule, described in Exhibit B, with the Cost Sheet, as described in Exhibit 13-1 attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference for all purposes, effective July 11, 2025. 2. RENEWAL OF AGREEMENT The Agreement, as amended herein, is hereby renewed for a one-year Second Renewal Term beginning July 11, 2025 and ending on July 10, 2026 unless otherwise extended in accordance with the terms of this Agreement. 3. ALL OTHER TERMS SHALL REMAIN THE SAME All other provisions of the Agreement which are not expressly amended herein shall remain in full force and effect. OFFICIAL RECORD CITY SECRETARY FT.
