AMENDMENT No . 1
TO CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT No. 61067
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth (CITY) and Toole Design Group, LLC,
(CONSULTANT) made and entered into City Secretary Contract No. 61067, (the
CONTRACT) which authorized by M&C 24-0036 the 23rd day of January, 2024 in
the amount of $ 524,338-00; and
WHEREAS, the CONTRACT involves professional services for the following
project:
Comprehensive Traffic Safety Action Plan, CPN 105099; and
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment No. 1 to the
CONTRACT to include an increased scope of work and revised fee.
NOW THEREFORE, CITY and CONSULTANT, acting herein by and through their
duly authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement, which
amends the CONTRACT:
IN
Article I of the CONTRACT is amended to include the additional
professional services specified in Scope of Services attached hereto and
incorporated herein. The cost to City for the additional services to be
performed by Consultant totals $65,002.00. (See Attached Funding Breakdown
Sheet, Page -4-)

Article II of the CONTRACT is amended to provide for an increase in
the fee to be paid to Consultant for all work and services performed under
the Contract, as amended, so that the total fee paid by the City for all
work and services shall be an amount of $589,340.00.

All other provisions of the Contract, which are not expressly amended
herein, shall remain in full force and effect.

ATTACHMENT "A"
Scope for Professional Services for Comprehensive Traffic Safetv Action Plan
The scope set forth herein defines the amended scope of work to be performed by
the ENGINEER in completing the project. Both the CITY and ENGINEER have
attempted to clearly define the work to be performed and address the needs of the
Project. Under this scope, "ENGINEER" is expanded to include any sub -consultant,
including surveyor, employed or contracted by the ENGINEER.
OBJECTIVE
To develop a Comprehensive Traffic Safety Action Plan (CSAP) that builds upon the
City's existing efforts to enhance traffic safety citywide.

Task 1 Project Management
The Consultant will provide additional project management oversight for amended
Tasks 4.1, 6 and 7.
Task 4.1 Safe System Priorities Project Prioritization and Safety Assessment
This task is amended to take the existing Roadway Safety Assessment Report for
the Top 10 priority locations deliverable and create a detailed, graphically engaging,
user-friendly document for public consumption. It is envisioned that elements of the
report will be used in future federal funding applications as well as in department
presentations to both internal and external City audiences for which graphic visuals
would be more impactful.
Task 6 Documentation
This task is amended to include compilation of technical plan deliverables into a
condensed, graphically produced planning document. Adobe Creative Suite will be
used to create the final planning document with tables, charts, diagrams,
infographics, etc. Once complete, the Vision Zero Safety Action Plan will be updated
in four to five years; therefore, it is imperative that the document can be shared in a
format that resonates with a wide cross section of audiences.
Task 7 Traffic Safety Campaign
This task with its traffic safety campaign and public service announcement
deliverable is expanded to create a comprehensive Vision Zero Communications
toolkit that addresses the following:
