SUBJECT: PARK & RECREATION DEPARTMENT FACILITIES ADMISSION
AND MEMBERSHIP FEES
This report provides a summary of the Park & Recreation Department (PARD) facilities admission fees for
City operated and contracted facilities fees, including military discounts and non-resident fees.
PARD operates community centers, athletic complexes, golf courses and two specialty facilities, Fort
Worth Nature Center and Refuge (FWNCR) and Log Cabin Village. In addition to these facilities, the City
contracts with Fort Worth Zoological Society and Botanical Research Institute of Texas (BRIT) providing
an annual subsidy to operate the Fort Worth Zoo and Botanic Garden.
Annually, PARD reviews established fees to determine the need to make market adjustments, including
incorporating discounts and/or rates to accommodate groups such as military, students, older adults, etc.
Any changes to fees are made during the budget process and must be approved and adopted by City
Council.
Below is a list of current fees for facilities operated or subsidized by PARD.
